Probably either the Holmes fight, the Biggs fight, or the Pinklon Thomas fight.

All three of those fights exhibited Mike at his true peak.

Honorable mention goes to the Bruno rematch.

Not Mike in his prime, but it was by far his best performance post-prison.

Spinks. The image the next day in the newspapers of little Mike folding ATG Spinks in half against the ropes was iconic. He looked twice as big as Spinksy in that shot.

It was impressive he beat tucker in a tough match, the champion-in-waiting after Holmes with a fantastic skillset.

Pinklons' head snapping back with shock written on his face from tyson punches and then going down was a great snapshot of his power against a top HW.

For me, it's the Spinks fight. However, I have his performance against Alex Stewart as a close second.

Tyson says that he was at his best during the time period after his lost to Douglas, and before he went to prison. A part of me wants to believe this is true.

yep, true - often you are at your best when you have something to prove, and he certainly did after douglas. He must have been so mad at himself and at that Denise whatshername that he was rearing to go.

its probably 2nd best after spinks, given how good tucker was.

yeaah he was beating most of these huge guys as practically a teenager. That is - someone in/just left HIGH SCHOOL.

what would impress you exactly? Kindergarten Mike Tyson knocking out prime Larry Holmes and Ken Norton between his Happy Meals? to the back of the class, dude.

I liked the Tyrell Biggs fight.Took a while to work him out and Biggs followed the blueprint.
But when Mike found a way,he found a way.

It didn't take Mike a while to find a way against Biggs.

He beat Biggs' ass every round. Tyrell was never competitive in the least bit.

Tyrell actually had a good first round with his jab and lateral movement. Tyson really punished Biggs with huge shots, and some absolutely some fierce body shots. That was a great fight to watch if you want to see how to break down an opponent. You could see Tyrell get weaker and weaker every round until Tyson flattened him.
