Both have one thing in common in that they both have controversial Ws on their records, which one do you feel was more controversial?

Did you typo Collazo's name, or are you just being a smart-ass? :think

The Castillo Hatton fight because of the sudden news just a day or two before the fight that all Castillo's earnings would be going to Diego's wife. Then Hatton actually introducing her to the ring after the KO.:think

Hatton-Collazo. That flash knockdown in the first really helped him out too. That fight was a much more embarrassing performance by Hatton than Floyd's first fight was with Castillo. I respect Floyd for fighting Castillo right away and proving that he could win a clear decision. I thought Hatton would understand his limitations and stay at 140 but need for money (and pride somewhat) dragged him back into 147.. against the P4P #1. :patsch

^ Yeah, but Mayweather isn't a true 147 pounder. Hatton will not be the smaller man.

Well, I had Floyd losing and Ricky winning, so obviously Floyd-Castillo I is the more controversial to me.

I don't think Hatton - Collazo was even controversial. Close, but not controversial. There was more of an uproar about Mayweather - Castillo I then Hatton - Collazo. ****, it was mainly this board full of Pretty Boyz that made the fuss. What a surprise....not!

Yeah, so it's pretty safe to say that Pretty Boys will be choosing Hatton-Collazo, with Hitmen choosing Castillo/Mayweather. :yep

Of course. It's the nature of the game. And there's those who can be impartial.

I've seen both fights, I saw PBF-Castillo more recently, and I would say that Hatton did FAR worse against Collazo that PBF did against Castillo. Hatton was getting brutalized in the later rounds by Collazo who isn't known as a huge puncher. Floyd held his own when the Castillo fight got ugly, and built a good lead early in the fight with his accurate punching. Floyd was never in trouble the way Hatton was. I can't ever find a way to score PBF-Castillo I for Castillo (the best I can do is 7-5 Floyd). But Hatton-Collazo could have just as easily gone to Collazo as it did to Hatton. But it was Hatton's coming to America HBO party...not Collazo's. Unlike Castillo, Collazo didn't have to make the fight ugly to make it close, he just exploited Ricky's questionable conditioning (for that fight) and defensive shortcomings.

i am a hatton fan but i thought ricky was lucky to get away with a win v collazo. i scored it a draw but i would have had no problem if the judges gave it to collazo.

with regards to PBF - Castillo 1, it absoloutly astonishes me that any neutral could score that fight to pbf. i have watched that fight twice and both times i had castillo winning by 3 points - that decision is as bad as it gets imo.

btw i wanted pbf to win that fight like i have done every other fight bar the hatton fight but FFS there is no way he won that fight.

Speaking as someone whose not a fan of Hatton OR PBF I'd just like to say I thought Castillo/PBF was more controversial. I scored that one for Castillo.

Mayweather Castillo 1 - I have tried many many times to score that for Mayweather but I just can't. Punch stats, generalship, everything - Castillo won that fight.

Hatton - Callazo: Tough close fight but Hatton squeaked it overall

    Floyd - Castillo.

Hatton struggled more late on in his fight though.
