How is it silly? The question is subjective in nature. It is asking for your opinion on which fight was the best, ie which one you enjoyed most, which one was your particular favourite. If thats the way you feel, why bother even contributing to this thread? What a sanctimonious dick.

McGrain is as far from being a sanctimonious dick as anyone here. If you had any sort of tenure here yourself, you'd see that.

 

No, he isnt. He's belittling the person who made the poll by suggesting it's a stupid and pointless idea, which it isn't, it is merely asking people for their opinion. He should either take part in the poll/discussion, or stay out of it if he doesn't think its worthwhile, not criticize the starter.

Honestly, it seems pretty tame. And McGrain is known universally here as one of the true good guys. You're really getting all up in arms about nothing.

 

Ha ha, don't worry amigo, I'm not exactly sobbing into my pillow over it, just got annoyed at what I saw as a very wrong and very pointless criticism of someone's idea. A storm in a teacup.

 

He might also be saying all these fights are so great and brilliant that it's an injustice to pick one over another. Quite a reasonable comment.
