    Are you saying Frazier was not ready in Ali 1? I had never heard that before. And I agree doesn’t have to be good opponent for their very best form of themselves.

    That's amazing considering his FOTC performance might have been the best in heavyweight history.

    That’s crazy. Not sure I believe him. He looked super confident and ready and performed amazingly. I guess a strong will can do that as well when you want to kill the other guy.

    Well the problem he had before the fight was the same problem he had after the fight, specifically wild blood-pressure. Frazier says he went into the fight with very high blood-pressure, emerged from it with blood-pressure so high they were worried he would have a stroke, and this is what hospitalised him.

    But WOW what a win! Frazier took a bucketload of punishment. It seemed to me Ali had stepped up his punching game and landed so many hard shots (especially for him).
