Which fight were you more impressed with: Pacquiao vs Thurman or Morales vs Maidana?

    Both were great, competitive fights with the younger fighters (Maidana, Thurman) facing the old legends (Morales, Pacquiao). Going into the fight many didn't think the old fighters didn't have much left (more so for Morales) and would have been beaten rather easily. Instead we have the old guys turning back the clock and giving a mesmerizing performance for their age while also being able to absorb punishment. Thurman and Maidana still fought their hearts out even when they got hurt bad. Both Pacquiao and Morales earned a lot of support for their efforts but in the end Pacquiao was able to secure a victory while Morales was a bit unlucky.

    Which did you think was the more astonishing fight, based on the performance of both fighters, especially from Morales and Pac? Tough one to choose. One could imagine what would have happened had Morales had been given the victory, it would have really elevated Morales ATG status.

    Morales because he got hurt early and came back even with one eye

    pacquaio could possibly beat crawford and spence , which would put him in the conversation for goat. morales fight was impressive but maidana is not at the level of kieth thurman.

    Morales out boxed Maidana pretty well which was great to see. Love Morales man.
    Pacman took out a highly skilled young lion who could box.
    Pac/Thurman impressed me more.

    Morales because he was far more shopworn, had one eye, and completely schooled Maidana. (Damn the official result)

    If morales pulled off the win vs Garcia/maidana it would have been Morales. But close or win makes all the difference.

    I also think Thurman handily beats Danny again and would have stopped maidana.

    Maidana went life and death with Ortiz and Thurman just punches a lot harder than Ortiz and is much tougher. I know Thurman got hurt by Lopez but hurt doesn’t mean going life and death and Lopez is tougher than maidana, just doesn’t hit as hard.

    Don't forget that Maidana got dropped by Amir Khan's body shot and looked badly hurt.

    Morales nearly beat Danny Garcia after. If he took care of himself better he’d likely had dominated that fight.
