Which fight will be best for Calzaghe`s legacy ? - Dawson or Hopkins ?

If Joe Calzaghe only has 1 more fight, who should he fight next ? Dawson or Hopkins.

Which fight do you think will do more for Joe`s ATG standing....

Beating a still very good Hopkins clearer would be a great victory but some could still say Hopkins was 43/44 even tho US FANS know that he is still a mighty capable guy.
On the other hand beating Dawson will be seen as beating a young prime on form fighter but the critics might say that Chad was never as good as he was made out to begin with.

I think either fighters name with an `L` beside it on Joe`s record would be undisputed proof of the mans greatness (I already see him as a great but some dont) but I think the Dawson fight will be much more exciting & Joe might want his last fight to be remembered as an entertaining one.

    What do you think ?

Losing to Dawson, which is what will happen, will not be good for his legacy.

Hopkins was such a bad sport after the last fight Joe should not even think about giving him a rematch. If Calzaghe beats him again and it's not total domination (which is pretty difficult against BHop) then Hopkins will whine again that he was robbed.

Dawson would be a very tough fight. Joe should probably retire unless he's going to give it his all in preparation. If he doesn't feel he can do that, he needs to hang it up.

Has to be Dawson. It will be thrown against Calzaghe that he beat hopkins the first time and the second time he was even older. The win against pavlik will be overlooked.

If he beats Dawson then he beats another upcomer. Then again he did that with lacy and look what happened.

Beating the better, more proven fighter who is likely to give a better performance on the night. It's not even close. The answer is obvious.

Lacy is NO Dawson and he never was.

Dawson is the top challenge for Joe.

Another win over Hop would help his legacy more but I think Dawson is a better option, because whatever Hop does now is only going to make Calzaghes win over him look even more impressive.

Dawson is undefeated,a world champ in his own right and is young enough to go on after Joe beats him.

Both would help his legacy a lot.

Obviously, beating Dawson would be better because Calzaghe already beat Hopkins.

Dawson, unless he dominates B-Hop, which he won't.
