Lewis-Tyson, of course. That fight will always be considered as the one that started boxing's great downfall.

Is this a trick question? If Floyd schools Canelo and he doesn't do great things, Canelo will be seen as just one of Floyd's victims. But Tyson/Lewis are two legends.

Lewis/Tyson will be remembered more through history than Floyd/Canelo. but the more substance will be with Floyd/Canelo because Floyd is undefeated and seen as the best around, and Canelo is basically in his prime who holds the championship at 154 and is also undefeated.

Tyson was past his prime when he clashed with Lewis.

If Canelo wins, definitely Canelo-Floyd. It'll be a huge thing in boxing and turn everything upside down. Might even give us a Floyd/Pac fight.

Lewis Tyson were two atg rated fighters. Canelo is a good up and coming fighter, but not in Floyd's level yet.

Lewis-Tyson is only remembered as a disgraceful cherrypick by Lewis

 it was the fight that everyone wanted. it was huge. Tyson was past his best, but that didn't stop people from thinking he could still do it and become champ again.

Lewis had one more man to clean up from his era. that was Tyson. so it happened.

but it's OK. people like to change their thoughts AFTER the event has happened. you're probably one of them. so it makes you feel better to slag it off than to give due credit.

Tyson vs Lewis as it was the end of the line in a major event for a once in a generation legend that is Tyson

though in Canelo vs Floyds defense the fight hasnt happened yet

if its a war or Canelo pulls a Tarver this may piggy back it

  12. Tyson was coming off brutal KO Victories over a number of opponents. I think he was physically stronger than he's ever been.. a true beast of a man.

i wouldn't go as far as saying he was physically stronger than he'd ever been, but he sure a shell was knocking B level fighters out. had he of stayed away from Lewis and fought someone like Ruiz, he definitely would have picked up another title.

The Tyson vs Lewis fight was a decade to late when it happened. History remembers it as a joke of a fight and a circus. No one in their right mind will ever bring this fight up when trying to compare memorable fights.

  15. It was around 7 years too late. We got shadows of two once great fighters. A past prime Lewis fought a way past prime Tyson. It wasn't as if Lewis was a spring chicken himself... He got knocked out against Rahman. Lennox's legs were utterly shot, he was on support with crutches and had to undergo special knee surgeries he had no legs.. Tyson could have cut off the ring if it wasn't for Lennox's heart and courage. going toe to toe against Tyson in the 1st round. Lewis took murderous punishment in that 1st round.. I was beyond shocked he was still standing.
    Lewis was done in 2002
