Juan Manuel Marquez v Juan Diaz or Vic Darchinyan v Jorge Arce? I am planning on going to one of these as a stoppover on my way to Canada. I am flexible with dates so could go to either, I am currently leaning towards JMM v Diaz but havent made my mind up. Or should I just get an extra couple of days heli-boarding!?
I'd go with JMM-Juan Diaz. Both are exciting fighters and in if not close to their prime. Would be a great fight. Darchinyan-Arce is going to be a one sided beatdown imo. Arce is past it.
Yeah thats what worries me, I think Dachinyan is going to absolutely hammer Arce whereas I expect JMM v Diaz to be highly competitive.
JMM v Diaz could end up been one-sided as well. Diaz could easily get outboxed by Marquez but I'd still rather go to that fight over Darchinyan-Arce. edit: check out who's fighting on the undercard of both fights. That could help you make your decision.
Thanks for your opinions everyone. I think it will definately be JMM v Diaz assuming that I can get a flight to Houston, Texas then on to Calgary. I know its a long shot but will anyone else be at this fight? Or maybe I should take that question to the general forum!
I like the look of Arce-Darch to be honest. I may be completely wrong since Arce is a little long in the tooth at this point, but he still has that power. He always comes to fight. And from Darchinyan you can only expect the same. Two power punchers that will go to war, its not a formality and makes for excitement all the way. On the negative side it could easily end early. Marquez - Diaz has the look of a 12 rounder. I thoroughly expect Marquez to outbox and outclass him, but Diaz has a high work-rate to keep things competetive. Doubt you'll go wrong with either.
go sit in the gods wih the poorer mexicans, its an experience unlike many i have witnessed at a big fight.I sat with them for castillo corrales 1 and it was ****in mental...
