I can’t decide which to go to. Both are on the same night in NYC, great seats for cheap.

    BARCLAYS
    Wilder-Ortiz
    Charlo-Centeno
    Derevyanchenko-Johnson
    Dirrell-Uzcat

    MSG THEATER
    Kovalev-Mikhalkin
    Bivol-Barrera

Wilder/Ortiz but Bivol/Barrera gives the card as a whole an edge. Flip a coin I guess.

Wilder - Ortiz feels like a more important bout, in that it will inform the near future of the top end of that division. And no matter how the fight eventually goes, I'm finding it impossible to call right now. Kovalev is great, but that fight isn't difficult to call at all. I'd go to Wilder - Ortiz.

Out of interest, how much are tickets?

I would choose Wilder-Ortiz every time. Great main event with a decent undercard.

If Wilder loses, you can say you were there when a fraud was demasked. If he wins, you can say you were there when a man finally stood up and made his name. If it's a draw, then you should have gone to the Kovalev bout.

Wilder - Ortiz. Because there is a chance that Wilder will get KTFO and I want to see it live when that happens.

From $60 to around $800 I think it was. I checked earlier this week to see how it was selling (not great btw). There were tickets available pretty much in all price categories.

I don't know how Wilder can demand a 50/50 split with AJ when, with just over a week to go before his biggest fight to date, he has only shifted around 10k tickets (that's probably being generous).

As we all know, boxing is a business and Wilder simply doesn't bring the numbers.

Weird. The best heavyweight in America struggling to sell a fight with a top-five heavyweight? I don't understand the relative apathy towards Wilder in America. I don't particularly rate him, but he's a fascinating fighter. A casual's dream. I feel like, if he were British, he'd have a huge following. 38-0, huge puncher, even bigger ego - people would, at the very least, be falling over each other hoping to see him get humiliated here. Are Americans simply too smart to care until he properly proves his worth?

I was surprised. I thought it would of caught the imaginations of more than it has so far (ticket sales wise). I don't understand it - it's an intriguing fight, that also should be a good fight. Ticket prices are reasonable for a Heavyweight world title fight. If I was in the states, I would definitely be getting tickets for this.

As far as significance goes.... Wilder-Ortiz. But I'm pissed I have to make this choice.

Hopefully the Dirrel-Uzcategui and Charlo-Centeno matches go long.:)

Not that I rate Charlo that highly, but I would not be surprised if there was a chalk outline of Centeno on the canvas after the fight. If Charlo does not knock him out he should just quit boxing.
