Which Fighter at 140 Would You Give Khan Greater Kudos for Facing and/or Defeating?

I'd give him credit for facing any of them..... but Urango is the most awkward of the four I think. Southpaw, heavy handed, seemingly un-KOable......

Bradley and Paulie are much more rounded fighters, whilst Maidana is a banger who is prone to eating canvas himself.

These are good fights to make, he ought to leave Marquez alone - if he wins, it's a win over an old man way above his weight, and the last thing he needs right now (obviously) is another loss.

 

Urango is at 147 isn't he?

Bradley's the best fighter there, but Maidana's the type who'd worry Khan more perhaps. A bit wild, game and got a punch.

 

Because he can punch really hard. Pretty simple really.

 

I think Maidana is quicker than Urango and possesses similar punching power. Urango is an absolute beast at 140 but he is slow as **** and has very average boxing ability.

Khan has the ability to win nearly every round against both Urango and Maidana IMO but it will be so hard for him to keep his chin from getting tagged. A power shot from either will have Khan in deep ****.

 

Chinny because he was down to Ortiz who has stopped people that ain't ever been stopped before? I don't think so.

It's not about how limited or varied he is, its about the fact he can punch hard and has a freaky natural timing on his right hand. We know Khan can outbox people but everyone still doubts him against a big puncher until he steps in the ring with one. Simple as that. He can beat Malignaggi, great, but everyone will ask the same damn questions of him.

I don't think Khan imo has p4p skills or ability...he's got great speed but you need alot more to be one of the greats of an era imo. Beating Paulie makes him a true world class boxer and Beating Bradley means he can go onto the p4p scene. I don't think he beats Bradley.

 

He has been down to someone before Ortiz, someone who makes Willie Limond look like George Foreman

 

I agree with TFFP here, people will always question Khan's chin and i even feel he should get in with a puncher to silence these people once and for all. A good boxer should always beat a brawler, the question is will Khan's team take the risk putting him in with someone who can bang but Khan can outbox all night. Risk/reward factor comes into play Maidana for me will just have a punchers chance, as Khan would box the **** out of him.

Will Roach and Warren let the puncher have his chance?

 

If Malignaggi is your 'all-round brilliant boxer' I'd say Urango or Maidana as punchers are more valuable. People are only going to be asking why Khan faced another feather fist if he won that fight. Malignaggi has been beat numerous times and come close on other occasions, he's not brilliant by any means, he's easy to hit and has no power. He's got some nice skills but so has Khan so it wouldn't be a huge surprise to me if he won.

Bradley is in a class of his own, he's the most proven 140lb'er so obviously he's the best win but I'd say the other two in this specific context (Khan) mean a lot more than PM.

 

Bradley is the best at 140lbs. He made Peterson look very poor the other night, and displayed wonderful hand speed and punch variety in the process. I think he beats Khan, and by knockout. That said, Urango is limited but he'll keep on coming and if he lands on Khan, do we really envision Khan standing up to that? ...It's tough too.

id even go for urango,(the easiest with maidena)tough teak solid,bit of power,but one dimensional,and flat footed,made for khans speed:bbb
