Which fighter beat the most all time greats?

Pacman - Barrera, Morales, JM Marquez, ODH, Hatton & Cotto amongst others

 

Lennox Lewis would be about the only person I can think would have a little shout!

I personally wouldn't rank Oscar, Hatton and Cotto as all time greats. Marquez is also touch and go. IMO

 

Lewis beat 2 ATG's and one was horribly shot. Hardly earth shattering Calzaghe did the same, pretty much exactly the same. One slightly faded but still top level great and one completely shot one.

I think all-time Harry Greb would be up there. He's not rated because everybody has seen him in great depth, that is for sure. He's rated highly purely on the number of hall of famers he beat, he must have been damn good.

 

Pacquiao has beaten a **** load of A-level fighters..... as for ATG's, I'm not sure any of them are, though a case could be made for some of them.

That said, I'd rather have his resume with at least a dozen top liners than one ATG and a load of gatekeepers.

Ray leonard beat Hagler, Hearns, Duran and Benitez.

 

Barrera and Morales are certified greats, Oscar is hit or miss depending on criteria really, he lost an awful lot of the fights that mattered but some people give all sorts of credit for persona/contribution to boxing/competition etc. Hatton and Marquez most certainly are not.

The phrase ATG is thrown around like confetti in boxing, probably more so than any other sport put together.

Barrera and Morales probably have a very strong case..... DLH does as well despite being on the wrong end in most of his big fights - if you give him the wins over Trinidad and Mosley, and call it a career after Hopkins, his record is 41-2 (29) with pretty much everyone worth mentioning on that slate.

Cotto and Hatton are no-no's, Marquez probably as well.
