Of note, I always cringe when watching Mike Tyson square up when he was going for the kill. All great fighters have some aspects that are not according to the book.... Holmes with his low left, Lewis had a propensity to get in his opponents range and do nothing while he thought up a plan, Dempsey leaning in when attacking.... all except Maske. Not a fault in his entire game.

That Damn Aaron Pryor comes to mind.
Chin in the air, jumping in from dangerous angles, reckless aggression, all the faults that we all thought would get him killed by Alexis Arguello, one of the greatest technical, and mechanical boxers to ever live.
    But......
When he choose to, Pryor demonstrated he could fight a smart disciplined fight. As he did when he found out he wasn't going to simply overwhelm Arguello .
He changed his tactics, got the win. A prerequisite of greatness..

Tyson did have his big firepower to keep guys shy as well as a real solid chin to bail him out. Not really as bad as Lewis sometimes putting himself (and his somewhat questionable chin) at risk for no real reason.

That bottle that was mixed helped the most.

I would be extremely interested in a bout between Pac and Meldrick Taylor, I assume a Pac KO doe.

Probably Prince Hamed. You can always tell when it's the guys who's style nobody ever tried to replicate cause they're impossible to.

    What about the 2nd fight?
Pryor beat Arguello even worse. No "magic bottle " in sight.
Until someone comes with conclusive proof there was something illegal in the bottle, that could be taken orally, work it's way through the digestive system, get in the blood stream, with in the less than three minutes left in that fight, I give it the benefit of doubt.
Especially since there was a 2nd fight.
Pryor was simply the better man at Jr.welter.
Not historically or on the ATG ranking.
Just the better Jr .welterweight .
A lot of folks choose to believe the worse, but what if it wasn't?
