    It breaks down like this....

    Cotto NEVER WANTED NOR ATTEMPTED to negotiate a fight with Floyd Mayweather...NEVER! Antonio Margarito wanted a fight, but this is around the time when a Floyd got a chance for a Fight with Oscar. So if you are a fighter/promoter/manager, and the options are to Fight a fighter with a Big Reputation or Fight a Fighter that can bring you a Record Payday...It should be a No=Brainer. Freitas and Tszyu were NEVER on Floyd's level, so for anyone who would say that FMJ ducked them, they're just hating.

    Your post has no relevance to Floyd fighting Cotto after May fought Hatton.

    Cotto, Margarito and Paul Williams all were ready, able and willing to fight Mayweather after the Hatton fight.
