    P4P is, in general, a meaningless gimmick.

    Usually there are maybe 3 or 4 actual p4p talents worth listing... then the rest are place holders because people need to fill spots to make a top 10.

    Current Golovkin is not a p4p tier fighter, imo.

    Its very possible that he would lose to BJS, Canelo and Jacobs in his own weightclass. Those are all very close fights.

    If he moved up to 168 and took on the number one guy there (Smith) he would lose outright.

    For a guy who has multiple legitimate rivals capable of beating him in his own division, let alone one division up, I simply dont see the case for current Golovkins p4p status.
