Lacy had nothing that could be ruined.

Tito ruining Vargas is a myth.. A couple years later got back on track with a couple wins and actually looked better against ODLH than he did vs Tito, he looked faster strongr and really motivated for Oscar.. After Oscar kod Vargas the loss mentally ****ed him up and even his skill level dropped.

I agree about Reid though,, He went from a very talented young champ, to a journeyman over night.

If you dont count Jones lost to Griffin (many dont) Ill go with Roy after being kod by Tarver.. although he didnt look like the same Roy in their first fght either.

Mosley was still and elite fighter after Forrest.. But still didnt seem quite the same.. And although still very fast it diminishe. In the second fight Oscar was faster than him,,, In the first fight Shanes outsped Oscar.

    Mike TYson

Michael Carbajal still had good wins but semed to drop a notch after his loss to Chiquita.

Gomez after his loss to Sanchez.

I agree that he was overhyped,, but before Calzaghe he had some solid wins and was still one of the best SM at lest top 3 or 4.

After Calzaghe he seemed to drop down to maybe a top 20 type fighter.

He was just matched up well...The reason he won a title at welter, was because even though he wasnt the same.. Even 80% of Meldrick was still to fast for a lot of welters. Aaron Davis tended to fight lackluster sometimes and Meldrick just outhustled him, it was obvious he wasnt the same in when he struggled and barely edged Glenwood Brown and Luis Garica, good solid contenders but the type of guys a prime Meldrick would have dominated, your talking about guy that dominated Buddy Mcgirt a couple years befoe and made him look like an ordinary fighter.

Dont know what the **** the Duvas were thinking throwing him in with Norris at JM.. That fight ruined him worst.. Then Espana gave him a good whupping.. THen to top it off they throw him in with Chavez.. THe difference was like night and day just over a few years..

    Poor Meldrick:-(

    Lewis sure brutalised Grant.

He also brutally ruined Briggs. :!: (Although technically Briggs already lost to Old Foreman.)

Matthew Hilton dont know who that guy was that lost his title to the mediocre Robert Hines... Hilton was very good and underrated in his prime.. He was just an ordinary ,flawed slugger after that.

    John Mugabi
    Donald curry
Lloyd Honeyghan after the Starling fight (altough he dd lose a td to vaca)
    Michael Nunn

Not sure with Taylor because he still showed some good stuff in the defeats. He still has very good boxing skills but is stamina is appauling. That's very different.

Taylor was always going to struggle at 147 anyway IMO.

Too small, devoid of power, and brawl-happy.

At around 80% of what he was post-Chavez and with the move up in weight, wouldn't you say that's better than a number of other young champs after their first loss?

Tyson was ruined before the Douglas fight even began. He was his own undoing.
