McCloskey was a decent fighter. I enjoyed watching his fights. He had some good wins at domestic and Euro level.

I was a always a St George Dragons fan since I was a little kid I loved Choc on the footy field and continued to support him when he went to boxing.

Surprised. You seem more of a Chaka Khan type.

I was early teens for Tyson-Douglas. It was such a shock. I remember thinking how unnatural Mike looked on the canvas. It was surreal.

Initially, Frank Bruno when I was a little kid. Then the UK had an incredible mainstream boxing run with Eubank/Benn/Collins, then onto Naz. I also started following Lewis after he beat Bruno - respect.

Went through a bit of a dry patch for a while, before being drawn back in due to the excitement and buzz around Amir Khan. And he was always great value for money, whether people love him or hate him he was always entertaining and gutsy - not much more you could ask for. I was really hoping he got his shot at Floyd.

Watching Barry Mcguigan on tv in 84/85 but spending a few hours with Herol (bomber) Graham in 86 play sparing in his ex-wife’s kitchen and driving round in his black Porsche with him got me hooked on the sport.

I think Hearns is the fighter who made me almost obsessed with the sport.
