There have been many great defensive fighters with amazing head movement, who do fans feel had the best head movement of any boxer? A top 5 can be named also P4P.

Pernell Whitaker is good. Floyd is good. no one used a jab to slow down the movement and land a right. If the jab lands the other punches will also. He never fought a Thomas Hearns jabber.

Roberto Duran and Jose Napoles are up there.

Jung Koo Chang also had great instinctive head moment.

Naseems movement and defense is extremely over rated.

Mike Tyson had very underrated head movement. Prime and even early Tyson had very good head movement. The fights against Bonecrusher Smith and Tyrell Biggs showed what a elusive target Tyson could be when he wanted to be.

Who in the world underrates Tysons head movement? He was doomed the moment he lost it.

Jimmy Young deserves a nod. And the thing he did was to make a guy miss and fire off an effective counter. Sometimes guys have the defense to avoid the incoming punches, but it is necessary to fire back in a nanosecond.

The fact that it’s hardly ever mentioned whenever he’s matched up with other big name fighters on numerous threads here suggest that it’s is underrated or people just tend to ignore it.

The thing that Tyson tought me was the combinations are more than just punches. Even a 1-2 should 3-4 with your defense.
