I don`t have examples but I have read guys on here say Tyson was just a banger and nothing more, it`s very common among casuals, the belief that Tyson was only about power.
Just look at the current 80s/90s Foreman vs Prime Tyson thread. Not one poster mentions Tyson’s head movement or any defensive abilities that would certainly made very difficult for the old, slow Foreman to land cleanly but no it’s basically just who punched harder, who’s stronger and who could take the other fighters punch better. Most of the Tyson threads especially against other big hitters tend to follow the same pattern.
Loads of fighters have a great claim. Impossible to single out one. As far as heavyweights, I've always liked Joe Louis's style. He'd make the punches miss by an inch or two. Love how he ducked inside hooks and left them harmlessly go off behind him, just by a fraction. Against pretty good fighters like Walcott too.
well lets see with probably a half a million fighters, at least, throughout Boxing History. Well I'd say... Boxing Robot's - the Blue Guy!!!
I think a reason for why he was banned would be good. There has to clear rules for wrongdoing. He seemed like he was curious and had a lot of enthusiasm for boxing. He was a good addition to the board here. I thought. Banning someone for enthusiasm doesn't seem right.
