My ranking of Harry Greb has changed while reading this forum (klompton, SLAKKA). The rest if it changed wasn't due to the forum, but due to watching film and reading primary sources or well-researched books. The quality of arguments on the forum is mostly too low to change my opinion.

ali doesn't seem to get the credit he deserves on here.
my opinion on duran has maybe gone up a bit but i'm still a bit mystified by the rankings of dempsey and marciano

Ezzard Charles. I'd read about his heavyweight exploits, obviously, but before coming on here,I'd never realised his achievements at lower weights. Superb.

:goodgood pick. i'd read about him first as the best light heavy ever (though never got a shot at the belt) but his middleweight career was nothing to sneeze at. it was only after that that I realized he fought as a heavyweight and made 9 defenses of the title! and WAY past prime twice went to hell and back with a peak marciano

I'm not expert at all but I started with a fantastic book, "An Illustrated History of Boxing" and moved on from there

    This site (and Youtube):

Ruben Olivares. Before I was exposed mostly to his post prime efforts. Seeing him in his prime is eye opening.

Ike Williams (Manassa deserves most of the credit for this one)
