Iron Mike. He definitely ended, as in they never fought again, the careers of Frank Bruno and Michael Spinks. Bruno was coming off a close decision win over Oliver McCall when he was destroyed for the second time by Tyson in a repeat of Tyson-Bruno I. Jinx Spinks was undefeated at the time of the Tyson 1st round fiasco, had 2 wins over Larry Holmes, one over Dwight Muhammad Qawi, and one over Gerry Cooney--a solid resume in that era. He thought very highly of himself, came from a prominent boxing family, and was at the peak of his career. His career literally ended with the Tyson annhilitation. Tyson also ruined the careers of Marvis Frazier, Bruce Seldon, Trevor Berbick, and Clifford Etienne. After they were destroyed by Tyson, these guys fought on but against very poor competition and never got back into the picture. The thing with Tyson was that he never beat you via a close decision or anything of the sort. If he won, he won in brutal, nasty, painful, humiliating fashion and I don't know of anyone who managed to set their careers straight again after enduring a Tyson KO. Ironically, Lou Savarese, one of the guys who suffered one of the most humiliating losses Tyson ever inflicted on anybody, fared best. He managed to win an alphabet title post-Tyson and managed to go the distance in a UD loss against a way-way-past-shot Holyfield in his last fight, if you can call that "setting your career straight again".

Berbick was so distraught after that loss to Tyson that he retired 14 years later. Frazier and Etienne didn't have much of a career coming in and they continued on the same path after.
He did end Seldon's career for a few years but that was mainly due to Seldon's shame of being "KO'd" by the breeze of missed punches.
