Victor Ortiz wins because of time. Eventhough this is a list of fairly talented guys most of them don't have the kind of time to rebuild a career as Ortiz has.

Maybe you can't rule him out but he's operating at such a disadvantage with all that scar tissue around his eyes. The vibrations from the opening bell open him up and he starts bleeding.

I think for one, he was absolutely dominated in all 3 of those fights and in my opinion the Jones fight was a disgrace on a number of levels. It's also that after the Calzaghe fight he never looked good in another fight winning really close decisions to Peter Manfredo Jr, Otis Griffin, and Epifanio Mendoza.

Some of it may be his shoulder problems but he's clearly done.

I think Victor Ortiz has the best chance to revitalize his career followed by Edison Miranda.

I voted for Victor Ortiz for the following reasons:

    1. He is only 23 years old and not at his full prime
    2. He is within a range of divisions full of big names
    3. He is a fan's fighter, meaning he can make a fight exciting
    4. He is Mexican American and will have support on both sides
    5. He is with Golden Boy Promotions who will be sure to land him a big fight

Interesting question. I'd say Peter because the heavyweight division is so weak. There are four belts out there, and it wouldn't be a shock to me if he picked one up.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Peter were to beat whoever wins out of Haye-Ruiz.

I want to see Jermain make a come back, he is a good fighter, not the best because all he got is the 1,2 but I think he was just unlucky how he lost
