We are currently goign through a transitional stage in boxing where most of the the icons of the past decade are retiring /getting too old.

Which fighter do you miss or will miss when they have gone?

My 2 are Naseem Hamed - was not his biggest fan but his personality/his fighting style left a big hole in the lower weight class'.

Roy Jones - though not retired..he is far removed from his prime.
Can still remember those saturday nights waiting for him to fight Ruiz, Toney Hill, anxious to be amazed by another crazy combo or leaping left hook. I will miss this fighter the most, I doubt we will see anyone as gifted as this for sometime.

I cant think of another fighter who made boxing look "fun".

I think British boxing will really miss Ricky Hatton and Joe Calzaghe when they go - it will take a while to replace those two.

Even though he is a fat **** who has tarnished his legacy, I will never forget James Toney for getting rid of Michael Nunn, and giving those those entertaining fights against Barkley, Jones, Reggie Johnson, Mike Mccallum, and those even more entertaining interviews-

    DON KING, YOU AIN'T ****!

ROY JONES, I'M GONNA BREAK YOUR ASS UP AN MAKE YOU PAY FOR ALL THE **** YOU BEEN TALKIN.

Good picks (RJJ an Naz), two unorthodox fighters, loud, charismatic....you just never knew what was going to happen next.

The biggest miss undoubtedly is Tyson, but i will also add Holyfield, Eubank and Benn as well as RJJ and Naz. (Eubank and Benn got the whole nation going over here and not forgetting Eubanks entrance's, Naz learnt a trick or two from him).

bhop - he generated all sorts. some like liked him some not but you always wanted to hear what he was gonna say next

past H/Ws like larry holmes, tyson etc would like 2live in an era where there was a true dominant heavyweight
