Which fighter have/will you miss/missed when they have gone?

Most missed now, recently - Gatti, Corales, Lenox

Will miss - Toney, Mosley, Hatton, Hopkins

 

I agree with you that many of the top guys are retiring.

Actually I first started watching boxing around 2000, so Ive seen a lot of my favorite guys either retire or fade or grow old since then. Winky, Lacey, Kostya, Vitali, Corrales, Morales ect.

 

I miss Lewis to be honest who left a massive void once he retired. I think it will be the same when Hatton and Calzaghe retire, particularly for British boxing.

Other than that I'd say Toney, Bowe and Holyfield.

Yeah Lennox was one of those fighters i respected but wasnt a big fan of..now that he retired i appreciate him more..Look at the heavys since.

Bernard Hopkins. As Larry Merchant described him, "a geriatric wonder".

 

I'm definitely going to miss Shane Mosley, Oscar De La Hoya and Bernard Hopkins (who - ironically, the entire staff at Golden Boy Promotions!!!).

Just kidding, otherwise, when Roy Jones jr. leaves, Glen Johnson.

I'm going to miss Michael Buffer and Joe Cortez, and Jim Lampley for that matter. Going to be strange when they aren't around for the big fights.
