My Pick is Corrie Sanders. Before I thought he was a glorified unrated journeyman 3/4 of his career who got one lucky win, but now i realized that he was a top 3 ATG heavyweight super southpaw freak of nature.

Rocky Marciano, I still don't rate him especially highly and still think his resume is lacking abit, but I've learnt to appreciate his fighting spirit and the qualities he has which he uses well and also rank him more highly H2H than I did.

Jeff Clark is a good mention aswell, I'd never heard of him before I joined here but I heard someone bring him up and looked to learn a lot more about him. Lloyd Marshall is probably another one aswell, I didn't realise how good his resume is. Charley Burley I rate more highly aswell.

Too be honest there's too many to say because I didn't know anything about boxing before I joined this forum (someone will probably justifiably say I still don't have a clue :D).

Not in terms of names, but in terms of those guys being past there primes.

They were all very dangerous fighters. Age wise they were old, but performance wise they were still near their best. And guys like LaStarza, Layne were young and in their prime anyway.

So should I be giving Marciano more credit for his resume than I am? 'Cos I usually rubbish it as him feasting of little more than contenders and then towards the end of his career legends who were past their prime.

I wish he would of stayed around and fought Liston, Patterson, Johansson etc though.
