I estimate based on Hopkins being able to exploit the counter opporunities that Joe leavs with the reactions of a 40 year old ( at least until Joe wore him out ) so i reckon somoeone with some of the quickest reactions ever to grace a boxing ring would do the same.

Calzaghe would have frustrated the hell out of RJJ with his style, people forget when they met Calzaghe was past his best to AND Roy just give up after a few rounds

Calzaghe is a better akwarder Tarver and look what he did to RJJ

Calzaghe is always a problem becasue he throws so many punches but he also likes to tear in , arm flailing with his chin hanging out , Roy would have clocked him

I always thought Calzaghe had a good shot vs prime Jones, I think he would have given him his toughest test in his prime.
His style would be brutal to handle for just about anyone.

Roy was incredible in his prime, but even back then he got hit flush a couple times a fight. I guess we don't know whether his suspect chin showed up later or whether he'd always had it, but nobody ever hit him as hard as Jackson would. I'd pick Roy by wide UD in terms of skill, but Julian would only need to hit him with a few clean shots, methinks.

i suppose for a lot, but for me, i enjoy looking back and watching the brilliance of Roy Jones while Calzaghe's legacy is left to the many hate threads on this forum

Tall LHs that can punch! Like Spinks,Foster hell if he can avoid getting Kod i think Hearns at middle might have the style to beat him. Mccellan beat him a couple times in the amatuers,if they ever fought as pros that would have been a very intriguing fight.

Id say if RJJ, had Parkinson's and the FLU, then Jesus with Panama Lewis in his corner and MMA gloves might squeeze out an SD. LOL

we all agree? I don't. I think Hearns could of beat him with the jab and made him look ordinary and Spinks another one.. Guys of that caliber with height would have beaten Roy Jones .

Duran would not beat Jones. Jones was too quick and guys with speed always came out ahead with Duran.
