which fighter in history, H2H would you pick

Spinks Vs. Jones at Light Heavy would be one of my all time fantasy match ups. I still wouldn't know who to pick, very intriguing matchup. They both never fought anybody like each other.

Addie I still don't believe and will never believe that it would be so easy for Spinks to knock out Jones in the 8th or 9th round. Spinks failed to knock out lesser fighters than Jones and that's a fact. Don't forgot also that Jones can bring out his devastating power plus quickness when he wants too. You can't write Jones out that easily. Jones was just a totally different amazingly gifted fighter in his prime.

But I still respect your opinion, not trying to argue just stating my opinion.

I respect your opinion mate. Let me elaborate.

Michael Spinks is never going to have an easy time with Roy Jones Junior. Not only because of the reason you've already outlined, but Spinks was among some of the slowest starters I've personally ever seen. He could go out and lose the opening rounds against much lesser opposition. I've reiterated every time this match-up has been discussed that I fully expect the scorecards to be neck and neck by the time of the stoppage. Jones could well have been up on the cards, his athletic ability and own skill set will see him land effectively on any Light Heavyweigtht in history, and Spinks offered little resistance in the opening rounds. That said, Spinks would inevitably get into a groove, and throw awkward, unpredictable, hard punches in combination, and a fighter like Jones who's relying on his reflexes is going to get tagged. Jones cannot afford to be hit by Michael Spinks...period.
