Guys like Floyd, Calzaghe, Marciano or guys like SRL, Ali, Lennox?

Note one doesnt have to avenge a loss against another great fighter but just a loss that stand up in a career like Lewis to McCall (non atg)

Depends on who the losses are to. If the person he's avenging is better than the guys the undefeated person ever faced, then that's better (e.g. Robinson vs. Turpin, Ali vs. Frazier). If they're avenging a loss against someone they had no business losing to in the first place (e.g. Lewis vs. Rahman and McCall), then it's worse.

You cant say one or the other b/c it depend on the opposition. When a guy is undefeated everyone looks at who they didnt fight or ducked, depending on who you ask. But even when I fighter like Lewis KOs his foe in spectacular fasion, I still remember Rahman KO in south Africa more vividly.:dead

But beating them convincingly in rematches legitimize the reason that he took them lightly the first time. I know its hard to gauge but I just love when fighters overcome adversity. Its shows the heart of a champ

    Exactly. It's ridiculous to generalize.
