    Oscar definitely made more than Roy. Roy did notoriously poor on PPV sales. He had a nice contract with HBO, but after Toney (1994) and until Ruiz (2003), he wasn't getting that extra huge payday from big PPVs. The Harding fight did terrible, I don't think the Pazienza and Griffin rematch did all that much either.

    Whereas Oscar was constantly doing good PPV numbers and making huge paydays. He was reported paid $38 million in 1997 alone, making more than any US athlete besides Michael Jordan.

    He got at least $12 million for that Chavez rematch, and over $20 million for the Tito fight.
