Which fighter played the cards they were dealt the best regardless of any natural ability's and genetic gifts they possessed? Which fighter was the most focused, disciplined dedicated to becoming the best they could be no matter what and ultimately mastered their craft?

Floyd as far as dedication, focus and discipline, nobody tops him in that department when you look at how good he became at what he did. Rigo is another when you consider how dominant he is when he gets in there compared to others. Also Ward without a doubt when you take in to consideration that he has way less natural ability then guys like Floyd and Rigo but he has the potential to go even further then both of them! But Pac has to be mentioned highly if were talking about becoming the best at what they do, he had less ring IQ then plenty of fighters, wasn't the most adaptable and was like 5"5! yet I would struggle to find someone who had a better attacking style then he did, when things got tough he just got tougher which worked 9/10 times. Not saying he is most affective attacking boxer out there but as far as exceeding expectations and becoming the best fighter he could with the cards that he was dealt not many guys will come close.

    Rocky Marciano .

Emmanuel Stewart (RIP) himself stated he still shocked after all these years Rocky manage to never lose 1 single fight given his size , tender skin and short arm reach and clumsy style .

I've got to say Rocky Marciano. The stories of his training, dedication are crazy.
He also mastered it inside the ring, too. No one could fight with the tenacity, rigour and discipline as him.

Hopkins and Toney. Neither one was gifted with great speed or 1 punch knock out power but they maximized the craft of boxing.

To see RJJ in his pomp was to see perfection, power in both hands, dazzling speed and footwork that would of left Andre Ward flummoxed,I don't really know the story of how RoyJJ became so amazingly good but it must of included some hard work and dedication added to his natural talent?

Juan Manuel Marquez. Didn't have the physical gifts of speed or strength that Floyd and Manny did but could accomplish similar things in the ring with his superior technique and the great tactical mind of Nacho Beristain.

Sal Sanchez wasn't the most athletic or intimidating, but he went from brawler to a sophisticated boxer puncher and counterpunching style. Had the best stamina I've ever seen, knocking out dudes in the 14th-15th rounds, dang. Always in shape.

Marciano another overlooked fighter, but his training was legendary. Small heavyweight, but with amazing stamina, pressure, and superheavyweight power.

Mike McCallum didn't look like anything special either, but like Sanchez, became a great all around fighter, cool operator and could box beautifully inside or out or go toe to toe just as effectively. Gave a prime Toney all he could handle and humbled fearsome punchers like Jackson.

Siri Salido ain't the prettiest, but his fights are. If anyone should be in ppv it's him, seems he's always in a FOTY and always manages to beat the odds or at least give the victor hell in a loss. Very sneaky, crafty fighter. He can box well, but toe to toe wars are his bread and butter. Even when he got dominated by a bonafide boxer like Mikey Garcia, Salido never let up and when he broke Mikey's nose it seemed Salido was about to capitalize on that. Not the best boxer, but extremely effective.
