but Olivares was able to KO Bobby Chacon, something Lopez was unable to do.

All 3 were great fighters. It's too bad I'm only discovering a lot of these guys now through youtube. Would've been a gas to see these fights live.

agreed! I paid $600 to see jones-calzaghe. I'd pay $6000 to see any chacon-limon fight live

Olivares also dropped a decision to Chacon. P4P Olivares was probably a harder puncher than Danny. At 126 it's debatable. Olivares was on the down hill side of his career when he fought Danny, but he was still good enough that the win put Danny back in the big leagues. Next up -- an undefeated kid name Sean O'Grady, after that, Octavio Gomez and a shot at REDEMPTION:hey

But to be fair, O'Grady is/was ****. Anyone who has his dad make up a belt for him can't be that good.

To be fair now you could only delay The Schoolboy for so long.

I won't argue about O'Grady, but you know as well as I do that in boxing a lot of things have more to do with image and perception than reality. O'grady was popular, handsome, undefeated, and had a KO% in the 90's. Danny made him quit on his stool, and the world went ooooooooh.:hey

I agree...sadly I ran into him at the press conference for Oscar DLH v JC Chavez. I was backstage and met Bobby and he acted like a child...by that I mean he did not behave like an adult.

I don't know if he suffered brain damage or it was the loss of his child....

Craig Watson. The Manchester based welterweight, gets robbed of a decision against John O' Donnell beats Matthew Hatton a year earlier and Matthew Hatton goes onto to face Zab Judah
