Which Fighter (Past of present) has frustrated you the most?

    Which fighter has frustrated you the most?

    Did they not live up to their hype?
    Were they not as good as you thought?
    Did they lack dedication?
    Did other things get in the way?
    Etc.

    For me

    Judah - Brilliant prospect, was excelling in sparring with Sweat Pea while still an amatuer, and looked brilliant all the way up to that Tszyu right hand. Refused to adjust, suffering from the curse of the gifted. (Pulling straight back from punches etc.) Dedication to the sport was so lax, a slap in the face to his fans.

    Jorge Linares - I love this kid. Why the hell he doesn't change trainers and learn to defend himself on the inside is beyond me. He has such brilliant punching fluidity and combinations, like poetry in motion. Two losses, both of which are down to a suspect chin. In terms of skills he's a P4P entry for me.

    (Tyson was a touch before my prime, so I won't mention him)

    good choices. super talented fighters that come up short. it's not too late Jorge but that chin and paper skin is here to stay :lol:

    Ortiz deserves a shout out. super talented fighter that was being hyped as the next "golden boy" turned out to be a dirty fighter with no heart. im hoping Russell dont fall into that category one day.

    Floyd Mayweather- beautiful fighter to watch, brilliant old-school skills combined with athleticism. Once he had gotten into a position to demand the big fights due to his box office appeal, he has been a part-time fighter, not giving us enough fights that we want. Moreover, he complains about not getting enough credit, yet has made it extremely difficult to make the fight that would gain him damn near universal respect.

    James Toney- another guy with wonderful old-school skills. He wasted much of his career eating and not training.

    I'm a huge Floyd fan, but sometimes his lack of desire to stop an opponent gets annoying. He really should have stopped Mosley and Marquez.

    true. it looked like he almost had Mosley out later in the fight but held back.

    I started watching boxing since very recently so I will only post the current boxers:

    Pirog, for fighting so infrequently.
    Martinez, for chasing JCCjr.
    Boytsov, for not stepping up.
    Wlad, for being so damn boring (not really blaming, it works for him but it's frustrating wathing his fights especially after the build ups)
