    Sonny Liston...for real.
He WAS the Baddest Man On The Planet until the questionable complexities of the Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali bouts took place.
After that he was appeared as ordinary as Superman with Kryptonite in the room.

Up until Calzaghe vs Lacy in 2006 i wasn't hooked on boxing (not too much coverage in the UK...) but that performance was such a schooling that i've been wanting more ever since.

Tyson, The prince, Ali and Benn. Mike Tyson was a phenom to watch in his prime back when most heavyweights looked like fighters.

Roy Jones jr. I remember I saw him and Vinny Pazienza on TV a lot and when they were matched up I thought it was going to be an even fight, keep in mind I was like 12. Of course Roy beat the snot out of him and I've been hooked every since.

Also about 4 years ago I had become just a casual fan for about a year and a half, then the contender came on TV and I was back into it more than I ever had been.

Well muhamad ali i knew of before even being a hardcore fan,I even had an action figure doll of his that was my favorite,But as far as watching the sport passionatley id have to say Little Red Lopez who was a regular on wide world of sports all his title fights were on regular Tv. Bobby Chacon too his 3rd fight with Bazooka Limon is still one of the top 5 fights ive ever seen he came back from an early beating to kick limons ass in the late rounds almost pulling out a 15th round knockout before Limon was saved by the bell. Then of course Duran/Leonard I remember having that anticipation of that big fight and i was only like 9 or 10. Also I remember an aging Ali winning the title back for a 3rd time against Leon Spinks. Salvador Sanchez was a hero of mine even though he beat my og hero LIttle red. Loved it when Sanchez put a beatdown on the trash talking Gomez. I remember many Saad muhmamad wars as a kid, the one with Yaqui lopez was a classic and i think fight of the year.
