which fighter(s) made you a boxing fan?

    This might seem weird but for me it was Dariusz Michalczewski.
    At the time i was kinda used to occasionally tuning into watching him beat people up.
    Then his fight against Julio Cesar Gonzalez cameup ... it was a really close back and forth fight that i personally thought Dariusz edged it.

    But they gave the decision to Julio (so much for not being able to get a decision in germany)
    Dariusz was amazingly gracious in defeat, gave nothing but praise to Julio Cesar and then thanked the audience.
    That gesture really got me into boxing and made me lookup the history etc etc.

    Here in Holland we got almost no exposure to boxing so watching a German tv channel was the best i could do at the time.
