I can't disagree with what you're saying, I would just say it differently -- He wants the 0 so he can stand out from every other fighter other than Marciano. At this point if he lost it, depending on how, there would be damage to his legacy, but it doesn't just disappear.

I agree his resume is Good not Great. Victories such as margo, pwill, pac and wright would undeniably improve his resume, but his resume would still be good and not great. Frankly if he fought and beat Sergio tomorrow -- that would be as good as beating two of margo, pwill, Pac and wright.

He can and will never have faced anyone as good as Hearns, Leonard or Duran. Because of that and his volume his resume will never be great.

Where I can't go is to say that he didn't fight these guys because he was scared. That's just complete BS. You put enough money in any of those fights and they happen. And if they happen, Floyd probably wins them all.

 

Good points. The missed fights hurt his standing as an ATG, even if he already is one (I think he is)

People keep saying that Floyd is scared of this fighter or that fighter but I find those observations to be pure fantisies. To Floyd, if it dont make money then it dont make sense and money to Floyd is a lot more than money is to fans. In order for him to fight for less money, a fighter has to do some of that Mosley ****. Shane thought he had Floyd scared and did that dumb **** on TV and got his ass waxed. Floyd wouldve simply outboxed Margarito and he will knock Pac the **** out. Call him what you want but I dont see no fear in Mayweather.
