    Vargas when he fought Trinidad?
    Lacy when he fought Calzaghe?

In terms of long term damage to the head, who got it worse?

Vargas in my opinion. He took a brutal beating with hard power shots delivered by Trinidad. Sure Lacy took his fair share of damage, but Calzaghe's punches were slapping punches more than anything.

I think the thread starter is getting at who was a more damaged fighter mind wise afterwards.

But hey it preety much finished both of them off, neither has fought near the level they were b4 they both got "lacy'd" :rofl

So whats worse Trinidad's heavy hands or Calzaghe's quick lighter hands but higher punches connected.

Vargas by far. The punches that Trinidad landed were heavy hard damaging shots and he took them for almost the full 12 rounds. Lacy took a lot of shots but they were no where near as hard.

Lacy was a hype job. Vargas was the real deal...he was thrown to the wolves to soon (even though he was competitive with them) and he paid the price

Vargas no doubt about it, he absorbed Trinidad bombs for 12 rounds being knocked down 5 times.

Are we actually voting on who we thought suffered "more long-term damage to the head"?! This is a pretty sick ****ing subject to have a thread on.

Man Vargas was a monster before the Trinidad fight. He was very dangerous but again could be the same case as Zab Judah. He got all the right tools to beat the best but his outside of the ring wasnt helping that much.

Did he have a bad lifestyle outside of the ring?
