I don't think any fighter is scared of another fighter, so maybe the term 'intimidated' would be more suitable.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LdNy12PtQw

At 2:26 of the video we see Floyd Mayweather struggling to talk while respecting Antonio Margarito, and then looking around paranoid. Mayweather also didn't fight Margarito despite telling him to his face "he will get his shot" and then retired when Margarito mounted on to become a top Welterweight.

Is there any better examples of a fighter being intimidated by another fighter outside of the ring?

I think thats just how Floyd is he stutters alot and seems nervous when he talks so it was a bit hard to tell he was not expecting that however, I do think hes somewhat scared when he is around Hopkins for whatever reason speaking of Hopkins I found it a bit funny when Broner kept talking out of turn and Hopkins yells shut up and he become quiet

Probably that HW named Green, I think.

He was the dude who took Tyson to court for beating him down outside a club. Tyson put a real street ass whopping on him. He probably turns around and runs the other direction now when he sees Mike coming.

Easy one. I have never seen a man as afraid of another man as Mayweather was of Margarito. He knew Margs was top of the food chain and totally bowed down to him, appeasment-smiling and all.
Margs could've banged Mays girl in front of his eyes and Floyd wouldn't have done ****, thats how scared he was.

  5. Michael Spinks when he faced Mike Tyson.

Dude had what I call "***** eyes". You can just see through his eyes that he was scared af.

**** was crazy :rofl especially considering how accomplished Spinks was.
Mike really had his way of beating people before the bell rang until he met a guy too stupid to be afraid of him (Holyfield).

Kentucky Floyd Chicken wrote a post about the Margarito duck he has been ducking and cherry picking most of his career.

Margarito had to leave the game as an injured, disgraced fighter. When your claim to fame as a boxer is that you supposedly intimidated another fighter by sneeking up on him and begging for a fight, that says a lot about your career.

Floyd is going to leave the game as a fighter that ducked the most intimidating fighters of his division . He took every which way to avoid fighting these men. When your claim to fame as a boxer is that you are the greatest boxer of all time (better than SRR etc apparently), you damn well prove it. When you also promise a man over and over again you would fight him, then when he gets to your level you retire to duck him, that says a lot about your career.

Guess what? he didn't only duck 1 fighter in his career either, did he?

You can claim Mayweather ducked whoever you want. He's 37, he's the highest paid athlete in sports, he's the highest rated fighter in boxing. He's won 3 fighter of the year awards. He's a 5 division champ. He's beaten numerous HOFers and and something like 20 world champs. He will also be a first ballot HOFer, and will go down as an ATG. Look at Floyd, and look at the fighters you claim he ducked. Which one is in a better position than Floyd?
