Tyson seemed scared of Lennox Lewis prefight.

Golota seemed scared of his best opponents i.e. Lewis, Tyson.

In his book Tyson said he was on a cocaine binge leading up to the Lewis fight and coupled with money and legal troubles plus the general chaos of his day to day life his brain felt 'fried'. He said that's why his post fight comments started getting more erratic, he was just in a near constant state of mild anxiety. He was on a comedown at that press conferences where he went off at the journalist and charged Lewis.
Surprisingly he also said he got a bit worried\scared at the weigh in for the Golota fight. Something like, "He just looked so big and crazy as soon as I got home I had to smoke some weed"

In all fairness, Margarito was an ******* for asking for a fight face to face. Poor Floyd almost shat himself right there

It's not that bad. It happens often in boxing, and usually it isn't a big deal.

Just watch what happened when Lara stalked Alvarez to get a fight, Alvarez barely registered his presence and calmly replied, you don't expect a fighter to punch you in the face without reason, Margarito was NOT that kind of a fighter.
Haye and Chisora are exceptions, i'd say.

Kirk Johnson pre-Vitali Klitschko fight. He was either so hopeless about his chances of beating Klitschko he didn't bother to train seriously or he was so overconfident he could beat Klitschko he didn't bother to train seriously. Watching Johnson walk to the ring to fight the tall Ukrainian made me think the former is most likely. Johnson just seem to dread taking every step.
