    I still stand by it.

Sure with the benefit of hindsight, you could say that Williams never had a chin and was always going to be exposed sooner or later but then with hindsight, you could say most of the boxers named in this thread were never as good as they were thought to be initially and questioned whether they should have been included in the first place. But regardless of whether you now think that the level Williams performance was flattered by Holmes being so old at the time, at the time Williams was lauded as being possibly Holmes successor and the next big name in the division. There was no mention of any weak chin or that he would be exposed as soon as he got hit. Once he was shocked by Weaver and it was an upset loss, he was never seen in the same way again and his chin was from then always looked at as being questionable. So from the aftermath of the Holmes fight to the shock of the Weaver fight, while it wasn't exactly from 'hot to shot' it was definitely from 'hot to not' ..... in my opinion.

Jones was a lot older than the other fighter`s mentioned when began to slip, it`s just that he fell from a greater height like the 23 year old Tyson.

Fenech couldn`t take a featherweight punch, Nelson was far more aggressive in their second fight and simply overpowered Fenech.

    They fought at 130 lbs.

    Fenech seemed to age overnight.

Fenech had many fights at 126 where he easily absorbed shots.

Absolutely. He took some solid blows of Callejas with no drama at all.

John Mugabi put up a courageous brilliant effort against Hagler.
However the fight ruined him and though he still won a world title
he never reached the greatness he potentially he had shown in
    Hagler fight.
