In an attempt to find some common ground for a change, Out yourselves, have a moment of candor and try something out of character and admit which fighters you are you a fan of that many on here would never think you'd be a fan of???

    I'll start.

Shawn Porter, I still think he has potential he just lost to a far better fighter than he. He's definitely not deserving of the backlash he's gotten since losing to Kell. He struggles with certain styles and excels against others.

Deontay Wilder, I don't have a reason to dislike Deontay sure I don't like Haymon, but he fought against and beat Stiverne that many on here thought would be able to beat (excluding me). Sure he's flawed but he's not nearly as bad as many make him out to be.

Erislandy Lara, I think he's overrated and at times can bore, but I am entertained by his matches occasionally, and when he has a subpar opponent, its a pleasure to watch him school them.

Austin Trout, he's incredibly skilled a really underrated talent, he beat Cotto and gets no credit for and rightfully should have a draw against Canelo that's an impressive record, yeah his chin isn't made of iron, but it isn't that bad either, he hasn't been KO'd yet has he?

Danny Garcia, I like Danny, yes I thought Herrera would school him and was right, but Danny is an entertaining and a good fighter, he's flawed as hell but I do like watching him fight.

Joshua Clottey - very tough and strong with good boxing skills but can be boring

Demetrius Andrade - Think he's the best 154lber, it's about time he proves it. He will school charlo when they fight.

Dmitry Mikhaylenko - very entertaining fighter never stops punching, coming foward all round action fighter, he's beat his last 2 opponents into submission through shear workrate, the mechanic should be called the dismantler. He's not a top ww but a must watch for me.

Andy Ruiz Jr - one fatboy I think could do well if he lost 50lbs. He's still young enough to do it aswell. Extremely quick and skilled for his size, he's actually a 210-220lb fighter.

Terrence Crawford, while he does bore the hell out of me sometimes, I find it hard to root against him, his performance against Gamboa was great as was his brilliant Dulorme KO, I still think he isn't as good as many on here think he is and his chin I believe is shaky, but if matched well against come forward fighters, surely he will be able to put on some entertaining performances.

It sounds weird but, Chris Algieri.
Pretty lopsided against Pacquiao but with his new trainer, I'm really rooting he'll become strong.

I used to be a big Pacquiao fan until his ignorant racist fans drove me to start hoping every fighter he fights renders him unconscious.

In a way I feel guilty because Pac is a great dude with a very likable personality.

Since people like to say I hate Yanks to back up their own nationalistic agends, then I guess Crawford, Bradley, Mikey Garcia, Tony Thompson, Eddie Chambers, Brandon Rios, Gary Russell Jr, Devon Alexander, Bernard Hopkins and Bryant Jennings

I am not really a 'fan' of fighters these days... when I was younger and just getting into boxing I was a legitimate fan of Fernando Vargas, Morales, Wlad Klit and Ricardo Mayorga lol...

Somewhere along the way, I lost that passion of rooting for an individual... these days I tend to just watch to see the fight itself, to see skills on display, the action, ect, and I want the person who is smarter and who prepared themselves better to win.

That being said **** Obviously theres still fighters I find myself rooting for, so out of those fighters I would say the ones that may surprise people (or not lol..) the most are

    Eubank Jr
    Anthony Joshua
    Bernard Hopkins
    Ndam
    Clottey
    Broner
    Khan
    Algieri
    Jermain Taylor
    Danny Jacobs
    Alexander
    Lee
    Wilder
    Brook

Those aren't my 'favorite fighters' but ones I usually am rooting for when they fight regardless that someone might not expect.

Favorite Fighters overall that are relevant today are

    Rigo
    Frampton
    Hopkins
    Mayweather
    Matthysse
    GGG
    Pac
    Thurman

Here's one that annoys me to admit, I'm actually a fan of Miguel Cotto, I think he's a weirdo and a diva, and don't like him personally, but as a fighter I've always enjoyed watching him perform.

Andre Ward. I get annoyed with people who think GGG has somehow ducked him, which makes me seem anti-Ward at times... but count me among the couple dozen people who likes watching him work.

Peter Quillin. I am hard on the guy sometimes, but a big part of the reason I came to dislike Haymon's operation is because I thought he was making a hash of Peteys career for no reason. I saw no reason that KC shouldn't have been having a lot more fights again MW contenders in Brooklyn and grown as a fighter. At this point I doubt he will ever do much, but if he had kept having real progression fights when he should have, he maybe wouldn't have plateaued at Lee level.

Antonio Margarito: Warrior, blood and guts, kill-or-be-killed type of fighter. Showed no mercy on many inside the ring, but his attitude and demeanor in regards to the handwrap scandal slightly turned me away as a fan...!!!

Ray Mercer: Hands that could brutally KO almost anyone, the Morrisson KO was sick, In 2001 within a month time Mercer KO'd back-to-back opponents Pegues and Steele (both men falling out of the ring)...!!!

Both Klitschko Brothers: True warriors in the ring, true gentlemen out of the ring.

Lara, sure he's a boring defensive fighter who doesn't nearly punch enough, but he's probably top ten pound for pound in terms of skills. I'd like to see him throw a few more punches, but he got robbed against Williams and Alvarez.

I also like Rigondeaux. He's a sucker punching douchebag, and another boring overly defensive fighter. But he beat Donaire fair and square, and he crushed that monster who was like a foot taller than him. I appreciate that kind of *****.

Monte Meza Clay. Usually, I don't give a **** about fighters who aren't championship level, but this guy is all business. His fights with Herrera and Salka were great. He's just fun to watch.
