Which Fighters Are You A Fan Of........ That Most Wouldn't Expect You To Be A Fan Of?

I like Broner because I consider him a clown for my entertainment

 

Chris Algerie- I like his style, I like that he annoys people with his persistence and boxing even though it seems he has very little power. I was hoping he'd come out victorious against Manny, and I thought he would for a moment.

Adrien Broner- I like how much people dislike him for his childish behaviour, and he has skills.

I think he's an a**hole, but sometimes it's amazin of what he's capable to do in the ring

 

My ESB existence for the last couple years has been to play devil's advocate and point out hypocrisies and double standards among posters' assessments of certain fighters. And that has generally made me root for those guys as there is a disproportionate amount of negativity and/or a lack of respect for their resume or skills.

Guys who I am a big fan of that may surprise those who assume:
-Wladimir
-Clottey
-Huck
-Kovalev
-Donaire
-Walters

Guys I didn't or maybe still don't like but root for because of this forum:

-Rigondeaux
-J. Vargas
-Mundine
-Broner
-Stevenson

I do like a solid list of fighters but I generally let it be known that I'm a fan of that group (Moreno, Ioka, Segura, Malignaggi, Dawson, Mayweather, Kameda brothers, Mthalane, etc, Wladimir and Donaire are two of my faves but I figured that would still surprise some so I listed them above).

I am a 5'7" Italian-American. Can't tell you how many times I have had people accuse me of being an African-American who only roots for African-Americans based on one or two posts or however they draw that conclusion. I've also been accused of being a Filipino bandwagoner multiple times before, oddly enough. Most of my favorite fighters are Asian [shrugs]. And that is merely a coincidence too... I suppose racial hatred and jealousy is unavoidable among boxing fans.

from late 2013 to mid 2014 all I heard was the hype about GGG, couldnt stand him but now I've jumped on the wagon too.

 

Danny Garcia. He gets the most out of his potential, perhaps even more if that's possible.
