Which fighters at light heavy or cruiser from any decade could have neutralised Foster`s jab?

    I added cruiser because I feel if there had have been a cruiser division in Bob`s time he would have done well.

    Well Bob got beat off men who probably would have been Cruisers now.

    What exactly do you mean by "neutralized" his jab? Does this have to mean (on your definition) something like a pressure fighter slipping past it or would it count if another rangy guy and/or slickster outjabbed him?

    I always thought Harold Johnson would be a very very tough night's work for Foster. He can cope with that style I'm certain, but not 100% sure he can score enough himself for the decision win. Very possible though. But he can make it very close as a minimum.

    Either way, basically render it ineffective, it was a really good tool that set up-up a lot of what Fosterr did offensively, he had great reach and the jab is the best punch to exploit when you have superior reach, just like Hearns at the lower weights.
