This vid shows how to counter the jab but which fighters were or best at this tactic?

Ironically after my comment I watched the rest of the vid above and Ali was mentioned as the first to make the right counter to the jab famous, check out his bout with Billy Daniels and his exibition spar with Ingo the former heavyweight champ that KO`d Paterson once, awesome.

Tim Witherspoon. Watch him fight Holmes and Bruno.

Holmes was very open to the counter right, Bruno never brought his left glove back to his chin after jabbing v Withersoon either, I would like to take another look on youtube though, good spot, I never saw the Bruno fight live on TV it was shown the next day but after I listened on the radio live, my dad didn`t want tio watch the fight because he was upset, I seen it on youtube but need another look.

Dundee said Ali was the best at countering the jab of anyone who had trained for him, or if it was anyone he'd ever seen. Something to that effect at least.

Duran has also been mentioned, so I'll add Tyson and Floyd. And Toney.

Check out the Thomas fight, Thomas pretty much controlled him with the jab, It's an impressive display.

Just dropping in for a sec. My first thought was Emile Griffith's counter-jab in response to his opponents jab. Take a look at his fights; he did this on a regular basis, not surprising IMO. Of course would you expect anything else from this ATG?
