Have to say, I've gone full circle on Roberto Durán. I used to not like him and though he was very overrated and I didn't understand why. I thought how can he be that great of he lost to the best he fought? And quit in his biggest fight?

But after a while I learnt more about him, watch more of his fights, heard his interviews ect; he's won me over to the point where he's probably one of my top 5 favourites ever and I honestly think he's the best fighter ever.

You'd expect, so wouldn't ya? Anyone who's fighting style revolves around Ring IQ should know their ****, but he's like the only one! Someone who knows their way around a ring like Mayweather or Jones should have some sense when it comes to talking boxing, yet they just sound like idiots.

That is a blatant lie. Please show me where anyone claimed they found plaster ?? All they found were trace elements of sulphur & Calcium. Which in FAR LARGER doses are indeed two of the ingredients of plaster BUT what the CSAC failed to disclose was they are also ingredients of HUMAN SWEAT!! not to mention HAND CREAM!! Heck it took microscopic analysis to discover what they did find. The whole thing was ludicrous

He didnt I KNOW he didnt All this BS came from Nazim Richardson's blatant lie about Plaster Blocks falling from his wraps ROFL He was the one who should have been banned. He caused a good fighters reputation & career to be tarnished

The District Attorney's office tested the substance on those pads. It was plaster of paris. Not sweat. Not hand cream.

Next you'll be saying those weren't OJ's bloody gloves in the driveway

I hated Ruiz for the longest, but now I respect his stamina in the buffet table.

I never hated Canelo but didn’t like him when he insisted on catch weight when he fought at MW. Seeing him fight at higher weights and now fighting BJS has earned my respect. If he defends the belt at SMW, assuming he wins, my respect will go to a higher level. That’s assuming he doesn’t insist on any rehydration clauses, etc.

I also respect Wilder for insisting on the rematch. If he follows through, I will have enhanced respect for him. Would like to see him take some time before the rematch but understand the rational. I never hated Wilder but didn’t care for his opponent choices prior to the Fury fight.

I don’t hate any fighters. I don’t like guys who duck opponents but hate is a strong word. I only hate dirty fighters, ones who cheat and try to hurt opponents. No room in this sport for those types of guys.

I didn’t like Fury when he went off the rails after the Wlad fight. Seeing the depth of his fall, and the comeback was probably the most inspirational act that I’ve seen in sports or at least tied for tops.

Fury hated him until he beat Cunningham and sang to the crowd after. Been a fan ever since.

Even if we put the rest of his considerable and highly impressive accomplishments to one side, anyone who goes 15 rounds with Marvellous Marvin is pretty badass. A former lightweight doing so is super badass. But a former lightweight going 15 rounds with Marvellous Marvin and then snarling at him at the final bell just takes it to a whole other level.

The DA's office was never involved LOL An independant lab tested those pads They deemed them harmless. but it was too lat the CSAC had already banned Tony on SUSPICION alone. Ive known Tony since 1999 & been ringside at many of his fights. That man was railroaded & his career tarnished by a blatant lie
