    Ray Leonard. Couldn't stand his pompous attitude real time. Grown to admire his incredible skills.

    I'm right there with you--after the wars he fought against Duran in 1980 and Hearns in 1981 I really appreciated not only SRL's greatness but his TOUGHNESS! (Particularly after that brawl with Duran in Montreal--man NOBODY fought Duran in the trenches like that! And SRL not only slugged it out with him and survived he came pretty damn close to winning! He got my immediate respect from that point onward!!)

    I rate Holmes very highly. I, however, have never found him to be nearly as exciting as Rocky, Ali, Louis, Frazier or even recent champs like Usyk. Still, i have him #3 all time at heavy.

    From 78 to 83 he was phenomenal. Incredible heart and determination.
