There’s not nearly enough footage of him training for my liking - but Joe Louis hitting the heavy bag is gold vision in its own right. So damn precise and technically correct.

Wherever Joe’s hitting that bag, he’s not aiming for in and around the impact area, he is hitting exactly where he is aiming - to the nearest millimetre.

Here’s Joe about half way in to the 1 minute clip. But you hang in from the start to see Rocky pounding that ridiculously oversized heavy bag of his.

I also like this clip of Joe. In terms of both sound and vision, the snap on his punch is terrific - Joe hitting the bag kicks off the clip: -

For a nice compilation of aesthetic heavy bag work by a number of fighters, this is a very nicely put together video: -

PS - some might question Ali’s power but aside from the speed and beautiful fluidity, Ali is smacking that bag pretty good - filmed while he was training for Brian London in 1966.

Finally, not a boxer per se (I don’t think) but a talent on the speed bag - this is very satisfying to watch imo, not least for the varying staccato rhythm beats of the speed bag: -
