I've only spent 24 hours of my life, never spoken about it before, ever. And I'm getting ridiculed for supporting anti-doping passionately?...wait what??? lol
I'd estimate that's more than 99% of the population. It's surely not that interesting to debate it so doggedly. You're not being 'ridiculed' - I just wanted to know why because I find it a bit odd.
Chael Sonnen who did test positive said it's rife, not sure why it's important for some to believe in this clean sport charade?
TheSmoking was like "Passport sucks bro, cause cyclists cheated it" Antidoping suck bro.... can't even catch a cyclist.... blah blah blah
I estimate that when the Lance Amstrong debacle broke out, half the world was talking about it for weeks/months/years. Let's call it even. Besides, all the posters I responded too clearly been discussing this topic for years. I don't see you calling them out.
I'm not 'calling you out', I honestly don't care that much about anonymous posters on a boxing forum. The reason I commented on your stance is because you're quite a noticeable poster on here for various reasons so I notice your opinions and agendas more. That's not a slight against you - an apparent Dillian Whyte superfan with strong opinions on genetics and anti-doping is always going to stick out. I didn't give the Lance Armstrong issue much thought personally. I don't care about cycling particularly. In fact, no one I knew gave it much attention. Half the world is a huge exaggeration! I think someone like Cristiano Ronaldo being outed as a steroid user would get people talking though.
Ok that is fair enough, I just came here to highlight how complex modern anti-doping testing is, and all our discussions here have not even scratched the surface of the complexity involved. I had an issue with posters oversimplifying the entire thing, and then dismissing the modern techniques because "some" cyclists still cheat it.
Well I've spoken about testing complexity, and gone into detail...please enlighten us on PED complexity. You take the driver seat.
Well let's just say we don't have to go in to all the complexities, the cheats have always been one step ahead of the testers throughout the history of the sport. You want me to give you examples?
Literally 0 evidence to suggest he used ANY drugs whatsoever, countless tests in 20 years. 0 positive tests. Of course Pacquiao, dfiferent story. Lots of A-Side meth! and Ped Fueled Shakes
Barry Bonds publicly failed a test for amphetamines. Lance failed tests but they were covered up, same with Bonds. I never said "publicly" regarding both for steroids. But people are throwing around the whole "they never failed a test" when they did.
