Which fighters do you think were more complete than SRL?

    Hard to say, Leonard certainly has a claim to being the most complete fighter of all time. Certainly he has the most complete boxing lexicon of any competitor in the last 50 or so years.

    On the same level/maybe better in "completeness":

    Joe Gans, Ezzard Charles, Sam Langford, Ray Robinson, George Dixon, Joe Louis, Pernell Whitaker, Roberto Duran, Jack Johnson, Willie Pep, and one i'm kinda surprised to have not seen in this thread at all... the original Leonard!

    In complete all around skills, i think he ranks just below Joe Gans,
    Benny Leonard, and some forgotten fighter named Ray Robinson,simply
    because they did what Ray Leonard did in 4 times as many fights.They
    maintained their great skills over a longer time...But being #4 is not bad...

    Emile Griffith is comparable complete.

    i would say mike tyson and oscar de la hoya.
