Which fighters do you think will win the next round of supersix and why?

IMO Froch is the perfect opposite of Ward so hopefully Kessler picks him apart ala Andrade. Dunno if Kessler can stop him but think he will win easy.


Dirrel just doesn't have the balls to fight like a man.. He didn't wanna engage Froch. Something tells me he won't pick apart defense like Abrahams and Arthur will chase him down and crush him.

I sure as heck hope Green crushes Ward but Ward got some mad skills. Think he will easily take Green apart.

I think froch will obliterate kessler early/mid rounds brutal ko.
Not that froch is that great but kessler is not the fighter he was of a few years ago, and even then he wasn't that great, slow plodding robotic easy to find overrated.

Froch vs Kessler will be MAgee vs Sarison all over again.

Froch will be all over him and no matter what Mikkel does he cannot budge him.

Kessler will crumble in the 10th.

I think Green has a decent chance but Ward should take it.

 

Here's my take:

Kessler vs. Froch - I think Froch is a powerful puncher but he's not much of a boxer and he's there to be hit. I don't believe Kessler to be shot but if the Kessler that fought Calzaghe and Ward shows up, Froch certainly has a chance of putting the hurt on him. Froch has no defense other than his chin and Kessler is a far more complete fighter than Froch. I'm a big fan of Froch since I favor guys with power but I believe Kessler will expose him. Kessler by late TKO/KO

Abraham vs. Dirrel - I believe Abraham to be a much better boxer than most people give him credit for. I also believe him to be more than just a one punch pony but against Dirrell a slick boxer, even one with Abraham's power, would have a difficult time with Andre Dirrell. In this fight I see Abraham's lower than normal workrate (he's slowed down quite a bit latley) working against him more than anything else. Dirrell will likely run and hide as he did against Froch but he'll throw more, and even if he doesn't land much I believe the judges will credit him for it. Abraham will have a hard time catching Dirrell with anything and I predict he'll be swinging for the fences without much luck late in the fight out of desperation. Dirrel by UD

Green vs. Ward - I've only see Green fight twice and while his record indicates he's got some power he hasn't impressed me much in his last two showings. Ward is fast, slick, and hungry and I believe is in a class far above Allen Green. Ward's moderate power however won't allow him to KO Green. Ward by wide UD

Now who do I want to win? That's a different story. I'm routing for:

Kessler
Abraham
Green

While I respect boxing skills the clinics put on by Ward and especially Dirrel bore me to death. I like hungry knock out type of fighters. As far as Froch goes, I'm actually a fan but I like Kessler just a bit more.

 

I thought Kessler would be obliterating everyone but i didnt like what i saw in his fight with Ward. I mean Ward did get away with alot but still the look of Kessler was one of a beaten man.

However Froch just sux so much that if he does beat Kessler it just means Kessler is shot.

I think being that Dirrell is at home and is very fast he might actually pull the upset but then again Froch when he landed stunned Dirrell which was rare and if Abraham lands i think its all over. He just can never be counted out this tournamen.t

Ward will destroy Green. I would have rather seen Bika than Green in here. Green just seems to be mentally week ala Judah and a lil ******ed by the way he always looks down at his feet.

Abraham and Ward should win their fights based on superior talents.

Kessler vs Froch is a real toss up.

 

I give Green a good shot at ward, and have never thought much of green
tbh. However, I see ward as being very open for a left hook and that's green's best punch. I could very well see green stopping ward, but if it goes 12 then ward wins the decision.

I would almost bet my paycheck on a AA Ko over dirrell

Kessler/Froch is the one that's a complete mystery now that kessler
is a mentally wrecked fighter, which is the polar opposite of carl froch.

 

I think the hardest fight to call is Dirrell vs Abraham but I've underrated Abraham in the past so I could be wrong... Still, with the fight being in the US, Dirrell by decision. I have some money on this one.

I think Abraham, Kessler and Ward will win their fights.

Abraham will KO or even UD Dirrell in my opinion.
Kessler vs. Froch is a toss up. I think Kessler will be ahead in points, but it will be close.
In the third fight I think Ward will get the decision over Green.

So the order will be:
