Floyd fans easy work. The Calzaghe haters are also skilled in this area but not quite there in numbers . The Khan man has the potential to cause the most when he puts a beating on Jr in the near future

Most were crying robbery because it was a very close fight in which Hopkins fans felt like their man won(very reasonable, although I gave Calzaghe the nod after watching live on TV). If the roles were reversed, imagine the amount of excuses Calzaghe fans would of brought up. It would of been worse than the Hatton-Mayweather fight.

In reality, the Hopkins-Calzaghe bout was a DULL fight which neither man did enough to best each other. Calzaghe got the decision though and that should of been the end of it. Some people were butthurt, but the amount of Calzaghe threads by Brit's to get a reaction from American posters was just ridiculous.

It got so bad that the Brit's believed their own hype and the trolls followed soon after. 7 years removed and every time I see a Calzaghe thread in the front page, I just cringe. His name has become a laughing stock now and all of his threads merged.

It's a shame really, I for one appreciate Joe's skills and accomplishments, even though he had a hilarious punching technique and got a lot of British/gift stoppages.

Ward has no fans here, yet his name constantly gets mentioned everyday.

What does that tell you about bitterness? :hey

You don't remember the TKO6 bitterness? That **** was the single most delusional thing I've ever seen in boxing. They actually tried to argue their fighter won when he got stopped with half his face wiping the ground.

I agree that neither man proved much. Joe won but he didn't look any good doing so. At the end of the day, it's very evident what Joe was up to. He took out two American ATG's who were on the decline, made a fortune and declared himself the legend beater  No wonder American fans were annoyed with him, and no wonder trolls made the most of it.

Joes saving grace is that he actually tried to get a fight with Hopkins some years earlier, the man wasn't a stranger to tough fights if it was the best opportunity available.
