Fury is probably a legit 6ft 8 with terrible posture.

Canelo is no taller than 5ft7 and was listed 5ft9 most of his career.

It’s much harder to fake height than reach,

Loma has like 73” reach, long arms and claims like 65” lol

I wouldn’t be surprised if he was 5’10 but 5’9 seems a stretch. He is a tank to make 175

I have no idea tbh, it's just something I heard. If he is indeed 5'9, I think it makes a lot more sense how he's able to make weight with his huge build.

Related to the main post, I met Crawford and towered over him. I reckon he's actually like 5'7.

I think Floyd and canelo are 5'7 flat. Saul is just a tank.

I've met Billy Jo Saunders and he's barely even 5' 9", might be lower

Actually, it´s that people are really bad at guessing heights.

and then post it on the internet under some brand that appears to lend credibility, but only actually does so under circumstances favorable to the aforementioned brand ...all of this **** has been made worse through hyperconnectivity. at least gimme that.

Yeah, I’d give Okek 6’2” to 6’2 1/2” max. Some
fighters can float their “inflation” when standing alongside other fighters who have already inflated their own height (eg Chisora).

Right now, isn’t Dubois still running with 6’5”? No, no and no. My guess, about 6’3”.

Fury is really about 6’7” to 6’7 1/2”. Big enough but not 6’9”. At least on one ocassion, Fury himself admitted to being 6’7”.

Having said that, Tyson does slouch and tends to wear relatively flat foot wear more often than not.

At pressers, Wilder would heel up - even so much as to appear slightly taller than Fury sometimes - but in the ring, in comparable footwear, Fury’s true height advantage could be seen - particularly in the pre fight face off.

Actually, given variables like posture, footwear, surfaces and camera angles, it can be pretty hard to accurately guess people’s heights.

The only height (in all cases) I’ll ever believe 100% was that of Robert Wadlow, medically charted and verified all the way to 8’11.1” or 272 cm barefoot.

They talk about morning height being the most - so Big Rob probably got out of bed at at least 9 ft and likely lost that much more height than the average bear through out the day.

    Tyson was billed at 5'11.5.
According to Larry Merchant during the tale of the tape in the fight with Berbick, they measured Tyson at 5'10.5

on a side note...do you think it matters? khan was up as high as 5'10 at one point but he has a long neck and sloped shoulders so in the ring posture or not he is using a shoulder hieght of 5'8. (our jeff said he was way shorter than he expected)

Floyd Patterson is both 6'0 and 5'11 in my eyes but he was clearly slouched and played shorter. same with marciano that must have been 5'9 or 8 while fighting from the floor.
